Here's a very good explanation of solar and lunar eclipses, with excellent graphics (better than your text) to help visualize the answers to tricky eclipse questions. http://www.hermit.org/Eclipse/why_solar.html and here is my own eclipse page: http://www.wwu.edu/depts/skywise/a101_eclipses.html 1c. Respond with written answers to the week 1 discussion questions. I'll take questions about these during class time. Assess your responses by comparing with my week 1 DQ responses on this web-site (posted Friday afternoon), as instructed on my responses page. Turn these in the first day of week 2. 3. Print out the week 1 quiz and write the letter of your answer for each question on a Scantron sheet (provided in class). I'll take questions about the quiz during week 1 class time. Turn these in the first day of week 2. |
